Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Eigen Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17140443), trading as Lyfestyle ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Lyfestyle iOS app or lyfestyle-app.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lyfestyle.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use Lyfestyle. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian. We may refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our discretion.

3. Your account

You sign in via Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

One person, one account. Sharing accounts or creating multiple accounts to abuse free trial credits is grounds for termination.

4. Subscription and billing

• Lyfestyle is a paid service with a 3-day free trial.
• After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at $8.99 per week (or your local Apple price equivalent) until cancelled.
• Your subscription grants you 100 generation credits per week, resetting on your billing date.
• Pro-tier generations cost 4 credits each. Fast-tier generations cost 1 credit each.
• Credits do not roll over between weeks. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.
• All billing is processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not store your payment details. Cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple — see Apple Subscription Help.
• To cancel, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting your Lyfestyle account does not cancel your Apple subscription.

5. AI-generated content

Lyfestyle uses third-party AI models (currently Google Gemini) to generate images from your prompts and uploaded photos.

Ownership. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the images you generate via Lyfestyle. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes.

No warranty on output. Generated images may contain artifacts, inaccuracies, or unintended elements. We make no warranty that any generation will match your expectations, your real likeness, or any specific real-world fact.

Moderation.Generations that violate Google Gemini's safety policies (sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content) will be refused. Repeated attempts may result in account suspension without refund.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lyfestyle to:

• Generate sexual, sexually-suggestive, or nude content involving any real person without their explicit consent
• Generate content involving minors that is sexualised or exploitative
• Impersonate, defame, harass, or deceive any person or entity
• Generate content depicting real people committing crimes or acts they did not commit
• Generate political deepfakes intended to mislead viewers about real public figures
• Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• Use Lyfestyle for any unlawful purpose, including under applicable export control laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Circumvent rate limits, credit caps, or paywalls

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Your uploaded photos

When you upload a photo to Lyfestyle, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process that photo solely for the purpose of generating the image you requested and providing the service to you. We do not use your uploaded photos to train AI models, sell your images, or share them with third parties beyond the AI provider necessary to generate your output.

8. Intellectual property

The Lyfestyle app, website, brand, code, design, and underlying technology are owned by Eigen Studios Ltd or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive only a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal use, subject to these Terms.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account or via lyfestyle-app.com/delete-account.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use Lyfestyle ends and your access will be revoked. Sections relating to ownership, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

Lyfestyle is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that generated images will be accurate, useful, or appropriate for any specific purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eigen Studios Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Lyfestyle is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Eigen Studios Ltd harmless from any claim, demand, or liability — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your use of Lyfestyle, your generated content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or in-app. Your continued use of Lyfestyle after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Lyfestyle will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer protection law gives you a right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
