1. Who we are

Lyfestyle ("we", "us", "our") operates the lyfestyle-app.com website and the Lyfestyle AI mobile application on iOS. Lyfestyle is operated by Eigen Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17140443). Our contact email is [email protected].

2. Data we collect

When you create an account and use Lyfestyle, we collect the following information.

Information you provide directly:

• Email address. Provided via Sign in with Apple or Google. Used to create your account, authenticate you, and send transactional communications.
• Photos you upload. Images you select from your camera roll or capture in-app for the purpose of AI generation. These are uploaded to our storage and sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate new images.
• Prompts and tile selections. The text prompts you write and the catalog tiles you select to describe the image you want.
• Generated images. The AI-generated images produced by our service from your inputs are stored against your account so you can re-edit and download them.

Information we collect automatically:

• User ID. A unique identifier assigned to your account at creation, used internally to manage your data.
• Subscription status. Whether you have an active trial, paid subscription, or no subscription. Provided by RevenueCat from Apple StoreKit receipts.
• Credit balance and usage. Your remaining weekly credits and a ledger of generations you have run.
• Session data. Information about your active sessions used to keep you logged in securely.

3. How we use your data

• Providing the service. Your email and user ID authenticate your account. Your uploaded photos and prompts are processed by Google Gemini to generate the images you request.
• Storing generations. Generated images are saved against your account so you can return to them, share them, or re-edit them.
• Billing. Subscription status from RevenueCat is used to gate access to paid features and to grant your weekly credit allowance.
• Safety and compliance. We use account information to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate reported content, and respond to lawful requests from law enforcement.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your photos to train AI models. We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data based on your consent (when you sign up and use the app), our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform, and to perform our contract with you as a paying or trial user of the service.

Lyfestyle uses the following third-party services, each of which may process a subset of your personal data.

6. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely on servers operated by Supabase (AWS eu-west-2, London). We use encrypted connections (TLS) for all data transmission. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only. Generated images and source uploads are stored in private, access-controlled buckets.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Generated images and source uploads remain in your account until you delete them individually or delete your entire account.

If you delete your account, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems within seven (7) days, including your profile, generated images, uploaded photos, credit ledger, and any other account-linked records. Anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. total registered users) may be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify any individual.

8. How to delete your account

You can delete your account and all associated data in two ways.

From within the app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Follow the confirmation prompts.

Via the web: Visit lyfestyle-app.com/delete-account and complete the deletion request form.

Deletion of your Lyfestyle account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Otherwise Apple will continue to bill you until the end of the current billing period.

If you have difficulty deleting your account through either method, contact [email protected] and we will process the deletion manually within 7 days.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time

10. AI-generated content

Images you generate using Lyfestyle are produced by Google Gemini in response to your prompts and uploaded photos. We do not claim ownership over your generated outputs — you own them and may use them as you see fit, subject to our Terms of Service and Google's underlying Gemini terms.

Generated content is moderated by Gemini's safety filters. Attempts to generate disallowed content (sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise prohibited material) will be refused and may result in credit forfeiture without refund.

11. Children

Lyfestyle is intended for users aged 12 and over, in line with our App Store age rating. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 12. If you believe a child under 12 has created an account, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the account immediately.

12. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies only for session management and basic analytics. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
